Robert Half International is the oldest and largest specialty staffing firm in the United States. I was hired as a contract HTML production engineer to help modernize Robert Half's seven public-facing websites, including this one for Accountemps. In addition to hand-coding HTML/XHTML and JavaScript, the project involved managing the presentation layer aspects of JSP code in a J2EE/Weblogic environment. All work was controlled and documented through PVCS Tracker and Version Manager. Additional tasks included managing the versioning of ongoing changes to the production websites, analyzing and resolving JavaScript code bugs, and preparing sites for conversion to Vignette portal technology. On this project I again demonstrated my strong ability to work in a cross-functional team environment, including corporate communications and marketing managers, business analysts, application developers, graphic artists, QA engineers, and webmasters. It was also an opportunity to prove my ability to learn new applications quickly.
